Hand Carved Wooden Yoga Cat Ornament Salutation Pose

Inhaling and exhaling deeply, this wooden yoga cat practices the 'Pranamasana' a standing salutation pose.

Pranamasana or the Prayer Pose is the starting pose for Surya Namaskara or the Sun Salutation poses. In Pranamasana, the palms are held together in the prayer pose. The word 'Pranam' has a Sanskrit root and it means 'to pay respect' ; and asana means a pose. Hence the name Pranamasana.

This yoga masterpiece is carved from Suar wood by hand so whilst it is carved in similar posture, every wood carving is unique and different from others.
